Starobylý klášter se opět po roce rozezněl hudbou velikánů flétnové literatury, ale také autory současnými. Mimo jiné zde zazněla premiéra skladby Book of Sand pro flétnový soubor Františka Chaloupky.
Ve dne veselý smích studentů a stříbrné tóny fléten, v noci praskání parket v Opatském sále a docela zdálky zvuk klavíru a svištění meluzíny v kachlových kamnech.
Klášterní patroni shlížejí z tmavých obrazů na noční opozdilce..
Ráno se ale zase vrací slunce a štěbetání fléten ze všech koutů obrovského kláštera, kde každý kámen vypráví svůj příběh...

Your courses have
inspired me a lot, especially on the last day, in the form of group
lessons, we discussed and tried to play modern music performance and
improvisational music together, which will have new breakthroughs in
terms of technique and thinking about timbre and performance. When I
played Piazzolla before, I always felt that I didn't have enough power
in the bursting articulation, and now I know how to do it.
There are
so many good memories about the summer camp, which were jointly created
by the teachers and the students. I thank the teachers for their
dedication and cherish the friendship between the students. It is a rare
opportunity for everyone to bravely show and communicate at the
concert.

"....My name is Zhao Jia. I come from Beijing,China. I'm study in the middle school of Central Conservatory of Music. International Flute Courses in Osek monastery in July 2018 really makes me very moved and memorable.I had four flute
masterclasses of Professor Clara and Professor Lenka. Learning from you
is a highly rare and immensely valuable experience for me. I appreciate
so much the helpful flute-playing skills you taught me and greatly enjoy
yours dynamic and engaging pedagogy. What has impressed me most is
Clara taught me how to make sentences more beautiful, and Lenka told me a
better way to breathe, also basic skill.Besides, we had
chamber music classes and small flute orchestra rehearsal during the
seven days of activity. I participated in performance of two Flute Trios
and flute orchestra. I worked with Czechic students, practiced over and
over till we have enough privity. We didn't know each others
originally, but music connected us. I tried music from Baroque to modern
Jazz, I benefited a lot from it.At the end of activity, each
of us performed a solo piece in beautiful church, it's a public concert
belongs to us. I
have to say I'm really moved and it increased my confidence.Thanks
